The History of Hair Accessories

Hair accessories have been a thing for just about ever, even in the Victorian ages. Headbands really were made a fashion accessory in the 1920's. While the Greeks and Romans invented them BC. We also saw them in the 1980's, late 2000's, and we're not seeing them again. Personally, I've always been obsessed with headbands and other hair accessories. I remember my great grandmother had a chest for only hair accessories - headbands and an assortment of hats. I'm convinced that's when my slight obsession started.

The second hair accessory that has come back into style is the claw clip. But not the boring, plastic, cheap claw clip you picked up from wherever. The new and improved claw clip comes in all sorts of designs and styles. From all gold, rhinestones, and patterns. 

I recently picked up an assortment of headbands and claw clips. They were all on sale and I'm absolutely in love with all of them! I've been slowly incorporating then into my daily outfits.
